Privacy Notice

What do we store?

• Your account details: your email address and an irreversibly encrypted (hashed) version of your password. Your password is never stored as plain text.
• The charts you save: birth date, time, place, and the planet/house positions calculated from that information.

Data Controller Notice (KVKK)

Under Turkey's Law on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK, Law No. 6698), the personal data you provide when registering or using our services (such as your name, email address, and birth details) is processed and retained by Kavi Astrology, acting as data controller, for the purpose of providing the service. By registering, you give your explicit consent to this processing and retention; your rights under KVKK to request information, correction, or deletion remain reserved.

Where is it stored?

All data is kept in this application's own database; it is not shared with or sold to any third-party analytics/advertising service.

Third-party services

The text you type while searching for a birth place is sent to the OpenStreetMap Nominatim service to look up location coordinates. This request contains only the place name you searched for; your account, birth date, or other personal information is never included in that request.

Sharing

If you mark a chart with the "share via link" option, that chart's result page becomes viewable by anyone who knows the link. You can turn off sharing at any time.

Deleting your data

You can delete your charts one by one from the My Charts page, or permanently delete your account and all data linked to it.
